What comes to mind when you hear the term: “The Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity” or ORAC? Probably nothing. But it is an important term to know when you are exploring the benefits of daily juicing because it is the unit of measurement for antioxidants developed by the National Institute on Aging in the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Yes! That means the higher the ORAC score, the more potent the antioxidants will be! The wonderful benefit of juicing every day is that you can fit many highly scored foods into a delicious drink and thus, increase the absorbency of oxygen and decrease the absorbency of free radicals into your cells, making it easier to produce new cells and keep those aging cells young and rejuvenated.
