Flax Seeds
For a shot of omega-3 fatty acids into your system look no further than flax seeds. Great for both the health of your brain and your eyes, omega-3 fatty acids are too often overlooked in diets. For the best results grind these seeds up and add them to your favorite meals or even a smoothie. Their hard shells means that eating them whole may not release all the goodness they hold within.
